We are very pleased to release our latest 15mm (1:100th) scale vehicle for the Yom Kippur War (and innumerable other wars!), the Soviet-designed and manufactured T-55. This tank was the workhorse of the Arab forces and continues to be fielded around the world. It was the tank produced in greater numbers than any other in history.

Khurasan T-55 tank in 15mm scale

Our T-55 features resin and pewter parts, and may be built as either an earlier vehicle with the large loader's hatch and no MG, or with the 1970 upgrade adding a cupola for the loader and the DshK machinegun – pieces for both options are included in the kit. Players who game the wars of the 60s (what-ifs in Europe, the Six Day War, etc.) will especially appreciate the ability to model the kit without the loader's cupola or DshK.

Like on our T-62 kit, the rear fuel-storage drums can be added or you can depict the vehicle without them, and in the latter case empty racks are also provided – our painted sample shows two empty racks. The DshK ammo boxes and the wading tube are also separate pieces which can be added or left off.

Also like the T-62, our T-55 kit is available either singly, in platoons of three models, or in companies of ten models, each multi-tank set at a slightly greater discount.

Available now at the link below (For more information). This model was painted and photographed by Troop of Shewe.
