PaperTerrain is happy to announce the release of a new set of Bavarian/Austrian Houses!
The valley of the Danube River was the site of many battles and other historic events over a span of centuries. There were thousands of villages and small towns in this area and most of them had houses which were built in a distinctive style. The main part of the house would be built next to a road and then the houses and gardens would stretch away in a long, narrow plot. Houses would be used by many generations of the same family and would often be enlarged and expanded with each generation. Walls were general white-washed brick and roofs usually thatch.
This kit will allow you to build five different houses of this type. Also included are walls and fences used to enclose each property, and garden sheds. Each building has a ruined version underneath. The kits are available in 10/12mm scale, 15mm scale, 20mm scale, and 25/28mm scale.
