Help support the Wounded Warrior Project & Game at the Same Time!!!
The Massillon Area Wargamers are pleased to present Battlefield of Dice, a wargaming convention/show to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
Battlefield of Dice will be held on 24 August, 2013, at the American Legion Hall in Massillon, Ohio. Located in Northeast Ohio, Battlefield of Dice is currently seeking game masters to run games, as well as traders to participate in this event.
There will be no charge to traders, although we hope they will make a donation based upon how well they do on the day. Gamemasters running a game (maximum two per game) will be given free entry into the event, of course. We will charge at the door for entry, and ask each player for a donation to play a game. At this time, entry is scheduled to be $5.00 USD per gamer, and free entry to non-gaming spouses/partners/significant others. We'll be working on the honor system for the non-gaming attendee part. To play a game, we are asking for donations from $1 USD and up per game.
There will be a Bring & Buy set-up for attendees to take advantage of, as well as raffles and a silent auction. Please visit the event website for periodic updates as we sign on game masters and traders: battlefieldofdice.com. You can also register your interest in hosting a game or attending as a trader at the website.
All proceeds from Battlefield of Dice will be donated to the non-profit organization Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), and will support a full range of programs and services for this generation of injured veterans and their families.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
