Aussiejed of Eureka Miniatures writes:

Eureka Miniatures are pleased to announce that we have formed an alliance with renowned Australian sculptor, painter and designer Victoria Lamb to help make her beautiful miniatures available to a wider public. We are honoured that she has entrusted us with this project, and so we present here the first releases in the Victoria Miniatures range.

Victoria Miniatures

Victoria Lamb first shot to miniatures painting fame in the Antipodes when she won the Slayer Sword for best-in-show at the Australian Golden Demon convention in 2001. As far as we know, she was the first woman to win a Slayer Sword at any Golden Demon event anywhere in the world! Her winning entry, The Rescue of Sister Joan, was a stunning combination of converted commercially available 28mm figures, original sculpts, and brilliant, innovative painting techniques. Between 1999 and 2006, Victoria's models have won no less than 8 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze awards at Golden Demon miniatures conventions.

Recently, Victoria has been begun sculpting some of her own original 28mm figures, which she has now decided to make available as a commercial range. These first figures embrace a wide range of fantasy genres - foppish nobles; tree spirits; Wild West and Troll-slaying Dwarves; and a mysterious Escaped Lunatic. All have been designed very much with the figure collectors and figure-painting enthusiasts in mind, and each figure is supplied with its own individual scenic display base. If you want to collect the whole set, check out our special offer at the bottom of the page.
