Small con in the Albany-Schenectady region of NY, organized by the Schenectady Wargamers Association:

To be honest, I wouldn't try sceduling Epic there if I were you. The event I mentioned above was a total flop…the three organizers were the only ones who actually showed up to play, and they'd allowed for something like 16 players. The con organizers were less than thrilled about it, no Epic event is ever going to get that kind of space again.

Good luck on yours, though. I'm not a fan of playing "borrowed" armies, but I might show up to watch if I have the day free.

Games:

Three 3.5-hour rounds are planned, with a 1-hour break in between each. Some games Friday night are a possibility as well, and a mega-battle is being planned for Sunday.

Rules:

The Epic Rulebook and Swordwind supplement will be used, as well as the recently released Epic 2008 Errata and Epic FAQ 2008. All of these are available free here.

Armies:

Armies should be 3,000 points and selected from army lists in the Rulebook or Experimental Rules sections of the Specialist Games Epic website, or the Tactical Command forums here.
