The first pack is a set of four Triarii characters, designed to stand behind their kneeling brethren in the final line of the Legion. They could equally be used as Extraordinarii, as we have given these chaps a more 'Italian' feel with their arms and armor.
The second pack is a set of four Principes, designed to mix in with your plastic Legionaries in your second line. In their mail armor, they are led by a wealthy Centurion, in Beoetian style helmet and wielding a Greek style Kopis or Falcata. His comrades are making ready to loose their pila, and draw their swords in typical (right-handed) Roman style.
