Lon and enfant perdus, I was referring to photo-etched, though I have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to casting. However, perhaps separate castings in pewter might work? I would think they would be easier to cast (given my caveat above), and would make for more realistic sword bayonets (like the Brit 1907 pattern and the German 1905 'butcher blade' type). For cruciform bayonets, I'm sticking (so to speak) with piano wire. |
