Space: 1889 British Cruiser

For the first time in some 30 years (and he says the last), Richard Houston has produced another 28mm model for fans of the "Lift-Wood" space battle games. Hand-crafted from pine, with card textures, metal fittings, and fully armed with his own white-metal weapons and details, this model will be the flagship of any fleet.

Space: 1889 British Cruiser

Measuring 24" in length, and a massive 14" on the beam, this model is meant to be displayed on any version of "sky hook" mounting, so that she can be seen and appreciated in all three dimensions. As usual, the top two decks lift off for interior access, the bridge is fully detailed, and the delivered model will have Union Jacks on the vertical stabilizers and more flags provided to fly as you may wish.

Priced at $250.00 USD (plus shipping), this is a truly one-of-a-kind model that any number of Victorian era science-fiction games can be built around, and is the only one of its kind by The Master – Richard Houston – it will also likely become a collectible as well.

Even if it's not something you'd buy, you need to go to see the photos! This is what "wargame toys" are all about.
