Long have they rested, seemingly dead, waiting for the time to return. Now the machinations of the Kraken Cult are revealed, and they are back! Destroying much of the Midlam High Council with their coral staffs of power, even as their Kraken archers take out the Town Hall Guard. As a Councilor is singled out for ritual sacrifice, it seems that the beating heart of Midlam bureaucracy is about to be ceremonially removed!
