See what you mean, it looks as if it is 3 command or 4 rank & file for £5.99 GBP but some definitive statement might be helpful.

Generally I like the figures although I am less enamoured of the running bugler and the inclusion of drummer in the Infantry Command set. The drum was not used in the field at this point – that was the point of the bugle and the running running bugler will look strange with a firing or skirmish line. Otherwise generally well executed figures, I look forward to more from this range; I guess we can expect highlanders (possible scope for a Piper Findlater vignette, Gurkhas, Sikhs, The Guides, screw guns, maxims and the opposition.

We have added a second range to our Empire line of miniatures.

British Officers

Out this month are the first releases for our 28mm Northwest Frontier range. These minis represent British forces circa the 1890s, and are the first in a range that will include Highlanders, Gurkhas, Indians, cavalry, artillery and, of course, Afghans to fight against.

British Command

These minis will also be suitable for other conflicts, including The Boer War, Late Sudan, and our other Colonial range, The Boxer Rebellion.

Infantry Advancing

Available in white-metal only. Also available in our store: the great range of plastic bases from Renedra, ideal for basing these new minis for the tabletop.
