The 2016 Wargamers' Annual Summer Special has the usual wide cross section of historical periods, scenarios, how to pieces and wargame ideas. I am delighted to welcome two new contributors, Peter Nicholson and Nick Buxey, as well as some new contributors to the vignette challenge. Regular readers will know that these volunteers contribute with no other reward than to see their articles in print. Without them there would be no Wargamers' Annual. Remember, this is not a closed shop, and if you have an article, a How To or a vignette, then let Caliver/Partizan know.
One of my own favorite periods is Napoleon's Campaign in Egypt, and I have included a short piece of my own on the Kleber regulations. These provided the French army, towards the end of the campaign, with some unusual and colorful uniforms and it is a great excuse, if one were needed, to include some of the late Bob Marrion artwork.
