M67 Zippo

The M67, nicknamed Zippo, was the last flamethrower tank used by U.S. forces. The M48's main gun was replaced with a flamethrower which fired quick bursts of flame which could be used against buildings or bunkers. Famously utilized in the Battle for Hue, these weapons created fear and panic in any enemy.

The M67 remained in service until 1974, when it was retired from use without a replacement.
