From recent reports, it sounds like their bank is 'taking care' of them quite well (Paypal tried to initiate a refund for me and other customers but looks like their bank accounts been frozen)

Graham Layfield on behalf of Dixon Miniatures writes:

As the web host for Dixon Miniatures, I'd like to formally apologise for the website's downtime. To put it bluntly - I dropped the ball there.

Under my watch, the hosting packed in, the company who ran the server for me disappeared from the face of the earth, leaving dixon-minis.com in the lurch.

After trying for days to salvage the site (back-ups were plentiful), the domain was out of our reach (for reasons I don't have the time to explain) for more than a week, and although new server space was ready and waiting for the site, the domain was still in limbo until today.

We bit the bullet, and decided to buy a new domain: dixonminiatures.co.uk, and got the store back online in a few short hours. The existing domain dixon-minis.com will redirect to the new site, and a new forum for Dixon Miniatures products can be found at dixon-minis.com/forum.

Dixon website is back online

Again, I would like to apologise to Dixon Miniatures, and their customers, for this unfortunate downtime.
