"The Untouchables" Playset by Marx was one I got for Christmas, 1960, and was always a personal favorite.

The figures--if not sets--are still available if you look around, notably through Classic Toy Soldiers, Toy Soldiers of San Diego (TSSD), and other 54mm toy soldier outlets.

The memories of the city block and warehouse never left me, and their impressions are still noticeable throughout the "Mean Streets" range.

Back in the 70's before TSR published my ms (plus another) as "Gangbusters," I actually explored the idea of finding the figures to see if there was any practical way of reproducing them for use with the rules. Well, that was a totally premature quest in those pre-Internet days.

I was always disappointed in the pose of the Robert Stack figure--too cool to be the pistol blazing man of action so impressive in the shows!
