Spanish Foreign Legion at Askari Miniatures

Askari Minis writes:

I'll second "Betrothed of Death"; MAA 161 "The Spanish Foreign Legion" is a nice introduction. Vincent Sheehan's "An American Among the Riffi" gives a good picture from the other side.

I'll compile a list on my Resources page. There are a few really good websites, too.

Al Maurer of Askari Miniatures writes:

Askari Miniatures expands its offerings of the conflicts in Morocco with the release of the famed Spanish Foreign Legion.

Spanish Foreign Legion

We have modeled the Spanish Foreign Legion in the distinctive uniform designed for it by its founder, Colonel Jose Millan Astray. It was in this uniform that the Legion fought the Rif War in Spanish Morocco and, later, the Spanish Civil War. (Could that be Lt. Colonel Francisco Franco on the left?)

Askari Miniatures are 28mm; prices vary by pack - see the website for specifics.
