The PDF edition of Ganesha Games' Fightin' Fungi has been delivered to all backers of the Kickstarter, so it is now available to the general public.
It is a $10 USD, 95-full-color-page download in a tablet-friendly size (roughly a 6x9 inches page size that is easy to read on most tablet devices and even some large phones).
This is an "advanced" version of Song of Blades and Heroes, with lots of additional special rules, reactions (allowing a player to interrupt the other player's turn), and a new spell system (with 36 spells defined by tags).
The default setting is the Sun Kissed Vale, a valley inhabited by four factions of fungal creatures (not unlike the Myconians/Myconids of earlier RPGs) both strange and terrifying. However, the rules can be used in any high fantasy setting, and there are also profiles for humans, Orcs, Goblins, Hobgoblins, Halflings, and Wood Elves, and you can build more yourself using the builder on the site.
The background information is deliberately left sketchy so that you can use the rules in any setting.
A dedicated 28mm miniatures line has been produced through the Kickstarter, and will be made available as soon as all backers have received their figures (all the figures are sculpted).
