Why was the talkback for this story taken off the main page?

I understand 6sided is a supporting member, but so are the individuals engaged in the conversation.

Flickr is an image hosting and sharing site. You upload images and people can view them, comment on them, and share them.

The problem is that unless you are sending people to your Flickr account, few gamers will see your lovely photos.

6Sided has today officially launched its version of Flickr, called MiniPics.

Now you can upload your wargaming photos into galleries on the 6Sided website, people can view them, comment on them and share them using the sharing URL code supplied with each image.

MiniPics page

Another benefit is that the image-sharing code can be used in blogs. You can upload images to your MiniPics galleries, and then display them in your blog posts.

So even if your blog is not hosted on 6Sided, you can benefit from getting more gamers viewing your photos – and potentially more clicks through to your blog/website.

MiniPics could also be used by companies as a marketing tool. Upload photos of your new range to a MiniPics gallery, and you can benefit from visitors clicking through from the 6Sided site. It also gives you a single link to share the images via, and invites easy sharing of your new product images.

There is a full help page to introduce MiniPics here.

So please, join us free and give it a try. There are not many galleries yet, but we are hoping people will share and comment.

Cheers!
