Four new items now available from the Houston Collection of 28mm Naval Guns and Fittings this time. Like virtually, all other items in this ever growing range for wargame ship and gunboat modelers, these additions are 3D resin prints for the finest detail and use.
First, WC-29, the Hotchkiss Machine Gun with "stick" feed, here on a Light Towing Cart. Perfect for use by the French and their customers in most any environment. The complement to the same weapon on a nautical mount for action afloat.
Next, an ambitious new offering for those whose gunboat plans run to "Fly" Class types that might be found on the Tigris in MesPot. WC-60 is a three-sided rotating Gun House mounting a 4" gun for some serious firepower. The back is open for placing crew, or just to show that it's all there.
The old "Dog Head" and "Native Heavy/Siege" cannon from decades ago have now been replaced with one a bit more exotic, and another much more historical.
WC-67 is the "Dragon Head" Gun, just the ticket for your 28mm Chinese Army from the when the Manchu's came to town right to the Boxer Rebellion. It's even been designed to look "worn" as if it's been in use that long. Unlike other models, this is cast in one piece, so nothing to assemble-just paint and play.
And finally, here is WC-68, a more common heavy field piece long associated with Asian Armies, though not least those of China. This model has wheels to attach, otherwise it, too, is a single print.
All of these, and everything else in the range, may be visited at the Main Page.
More Ship Fittings are coming soon, too, so keep an eye open!
