I've got a couple of these, I find them good value.

It's easy to compare to the price of a magazine which are half full of adverts and help cover the costs.

The annuals I've got do not have adverts so hence a higher cover price.

I no longer buy any wargames magazine, as I do not find any of them value for money.

In this, the 200th Anniversary year of the Battle of Waterloo, I have resisted turning the whole Annual into a Waterloo Special. However, it would be wrong not to note this famous battle, and so readers will find La Haye Sainte, Waterloo 1815 by Dale Smith, and a portfolio of illustrations of Waterloo Warriors. That is where the tribute ends, and you will also find Ancients with Scyth Wars at one end of the time scale, and World War Two Battle Skills at the other. There is something on the Back of Beyond – and Beyond. There are other pieces in-between, including how to play a simple French-Indian War campaign, an alternative 1745 campaign, and, of course, the Vignette Challenge, How To's and much more. In short, I hope there is something for everyone.
