Great News

Wargaming for Grown Ups have just released their successful rules for Sumerian Warfare, To Ur is Human, as a PDF for you to download and read on your tablet whilst on public transport without any fear of embarrassment. This is available exclusively through Wargame Vault, or you can even still buy the hardcopy through Amazon, or from CP Models and get a bonus figure.

For those of you who want to try something really off the beaten track and be the envy of all your friends, we have also released It's Getting a Bit Chile, rules for the 1879-84 War of the Pacific. With several easy-to-obtain reference books in English and three ranges of figures from 10mm to 15mm and 28mm, there's never been a better time to start to game one of the hardest-fought and most influential wars in the history of South America. With small armies, colorful uniforms, and epic battles, it is hard to believe wargamers have overlooked the war for so long.

The rules include a history of the war, orbats, a painting guise, flags, a bibliography, and a list of figure manufacturers, as well as the actual rules themselves. The rulebook contains numerous clear examples and diagrams, all rounded off with a one-page QRS on the back cover.

The rules are available in color hardcopy from Amazon. Prices vary depending on exchange rates, but right now they are:

  • Amazon.co.uk £14.99 GBP
  • Amazom.com $19.99 USD
  • Amazon.ca $26.30 CAD
  • Amazon.de €19.20 EUR
  • Amazon.fr €18.93 EUR
  • Amazon.es €18.66 EUR
  • Amazon.it €18.66 EUR
  • Amazon.co.jp 2,365.00 JPY
