WS&S Issue 80: The War for Sicily - Carthage Gets a Punic Pounding

WS&S Issue 80

The next issue of Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy is at the printer now and is due back very soon! This edition, like Ancient Warfare IX.4 (which is set to follow in a few weeks), is focused on the First Punic War. Besides scenarios for that war, issue 80 also has a scenario for the first day of the Battle of the Bulge involving Fallschirmjägers. German paratroopers are also on the field in a Skirmish Sangin scenario for Afghanistan. We have a Muskets & Tomahawks adaptation for the battle around La Haye Sainte at Waterloo, Victual Brothers in Medieval Stockholm, building canals into your terrain, and much more besides. To whet your appetite, we have an introduction to the organization of the Roman army by the late Allen Curtis, and Mark Backhouse's adaptation for Hail Caesar entitled Hail Agrippa, (previously published in WS&S 66) for use with the naval scenario in this issue.
