General Note: Sorry I can't write individually. I'm not allowed enough time at the computer to do that.

Thanks to everyone for your concern.

Mal Wright

Very sick. Had a seizure. Apparently not a stroke. Don't know the difference, but I feel dreadful. Doctors say it will take some time to recover from it, as I have had too many incidents and head injuries over the years. Some aspects may never be recovered this time. Ability to concentrate shot to bits. Memory all over the place. I keep smelling things that don't exist. Woke up to overwhelming smell of baked biscuits in middle of the night, but none being baked. Have smelt so many things, it's getting hard to tell what is real and what is not. Also, memory flashes from past, not of events, but of simple things. A flower, an orange, a leaf, a moon-set, and so on. It's like my brain is a computer and trying to reset.

Very limited computer time allowed. TV drives me crazy with the noise. Sitting mostly in an isolated room trying to paint ships and keep away from noise. But hard with hands shaking so much, and light sensitive due to a massive headache. Only other alternative is to lay in bed.

They say I could be weeks or months before I am back in action. On lots of medication. It looks like a meal when it's laid out.

I am deeply humbled to have received over 400 'get well' messages. Just about every corner of the world. That is just amazing and very uplifting. It's nice to know so many people care, but not sure I am really worthy of it. I'm just another wargamer.

It's OK to pass this on with my deep gratitude for so many wishes and prayers. It's astonishing and almost enough to make a big bloke cry.

Thanks to everyone. Not sure when I can communicate again. I'm playing truant now while my wife is asleep! But felt I had to respond re: so many messages of good will.

Regards to all!
