Now Available: Foreign Legion & Marine Infantry for the Madagascar & Dahomey Campaigns
Continuing our move to Foreign Legion in campaigns outside of North Africa, we have this month released a second set of figures – this time for the Madagascar and Dahomey campaigns.
The figures above are painted in Infanterie de Marine uniforms of dark blue jackets and white trousers and helmets. These can be either the Marines or the Foreign Legion in Navy-issue uniforms.

Foreign Legion in Madagascar
When the French decided to invade in 1895, the force included a battalion of volunteers from the Foreign Legion, half from each of the two Legion regiments. They were part of a Regiment d'Algerie, which also included two battalions of Tirailleurs Algeriens. For these you can use any of our Zouave or Tirailleur figures.
