Any thoughts about compatibility with Warlords epic Waterloo range? Figures and buildings? I like the idea of the mat, probably playing on it in sections.

My initial thoughts:
The mat is too big for the figures. One foot = 100 yards is 1/300th scale. A line formation of 24 cm is about 1/600th (assuming a 160 yard line).
The mat is too small for the buildings, which at 15mm would be about 1/120th scale.

Or maybe the difference is not significant from a gaming perspective, or maybe my mat/assumptions are incorrect?

Thanks
Mike

The Battle of Waterloo #2010 Epic Full Battle Mat

Waterloo mat

Refight the 1815 Battle of Waterloo on this epic-sized mat! This is a high resolution, high quality mat, printed on a single piece of premium, dense weave, wrinkle-free fabric. (Please note that this is a diffident material than our standard fleece mats.)

Waterloo mat

The mat measures 80" x 180" (6.5 feet by 15 feet) and represents the Battle of Waterloo in approximately 1' = 100 yards scale. The roads are approximately 1" inch wide and the streams are approximately 1" wide.

Waterloo mat

This mat can be used to fight Waterloo using your favorite set of grand-tactical Napoleonics rules. The mat was designed to look best with 14mm to 18mm figures, but scales from 6mm/10mm/20mm/25mm would also be suitable.

This makes a fantastic club project for a weekend of gaming in your friend's basement or an epic convention game. With some changes of buildings and terrain, it will have a lot of replay value and could be used for games of 6mm, 15mm to 28mm WWI, WWII, 1812, AWI, WSS, FIW, 1866, Franco-Prussian, etc.

Good Gaming!
