Originally named the Hornisse (German for Hornet), the Nashorn (Rhinoceros) was a tank destroyer developed in 1942 by equipping the deadly Pak 43 heavy anti-tank gun onto a turretless Panzer IV chassis. Our resin-and-metal Bolt Action Nashorn comes complete with four crew – each with a separate head, allowing you to choose the positioning of your fighting men. The barrel-stays can be placed clamping the barrel or, as was often the case in action, left loose on the glacis plate, allowing you to elevate the gun. The Nashorn also includes an MG34 for local defense and anti-aircraft capability.
