Once again, Andre Kruppa of Game Soapbox Productions will be hosting his Knights In The Sky Aerodrome tournament for the attendees of Huzzah! This has become a part of the lore and legend of the show, with sometimes a dozen players wheeling through the unfriendly skies on the first night of the convention. Great for young gamers as well as seasoned old campaigners, the table is crowded, and the air filled with shouts of triumph and groans of despair - not to mention a good deal of laughter.
Here is Andre's post about the tournament for this year:
On Saturday, May 5th, at 7:30PM in Portland, Maine, daring pilots will throw the gauntlet down in a contest of wills vying for dominance. The winner will be awarded the coveted Huzzah 2012 Knights in the Sky cup. New this year, smaller cups will be awarded to 2nd and 3rd place winners. Take the challenge!
This exciting tournament uses the popular fast-play Aerodrome 1.1 aerial combat system, which is very easy to learn! Pilots of all ages and experience levels are welcome. A dogfight scenario is scheduled Friday evening to help you get your wings ready!
The Friday night dogfights features a new mission approximately every hour. Players can join as the evening progresses! Last year, we had twelve pilots in the last mission, and we can handle up to 16.
Come join the fun at Huzzah! 2012!
