We are pleased to announce that in the beginning of 2015, we will be releasing our 100 Days Campaign 6mm range.

The 100 Days Campaign in 6mm

The range will comprise:

Le Haye Sainte
Hougoumont
Papelotte
Frichermont
Mont St Jean
La Belle Alliance
Plancenoit
Smohain
Merbe Braine
Braine l'Alleud
Gemiancourt
Quatre Bras
Ligny
Plus options to make more of the small villages

The range is being done under our Big Battalions range, with shrunken footprints to allow them to be used in games where one figure represents many men, so some compromise had to be made on door and window number and positioning to shrink the footprint while still keeping the look as correct as possible. A model constructed to the correct footprint scale would simply take up too much space with regard to ground scale. Sorry, Skirmish Gamers, but these aren't the buildings for you.

All the main buildings have been extensively researched to get the closest possible model to the real thing on the day. Hougoumont pictured above is inspired by the model in the Foyer at the Waterloo Visitors Center and is the experts' view on what the Chateau complex looked like on the day of the battle. The main difference is the Great Barn and buildings around it having thatched roofs. All the buildings were rendered and whitewashed as was the taste of the day. The Chapel at Hougoumont has just been restored to its rendered whitewashed splendor. The farms will come ready on a scenic tile with the villages, using our usual tile and building insert system.

While 2015 is a very special year for enthusiasts of the battle, the buildings can be used for other battles in this era, as well as wars before and after the Napoleonic Age.
