Then you need crews otherwise they look like ghost ships.
And 1/300? Battles with dozens if not 100s of them? Could be something, but quite an investment to look right.

Skull and Crown announces the release of a new range of 1:300 scale laser-cut renaissance galleys.

Papal galley with example of flag sheet

The main fighting vessel in the Mediterranean for hundreds of years, galleys in the Renaissance reached their peak as colorful and deadly instruments of war. Used as both a troop transport for boarding actions, and a gunship, galleys packed a fierce array of guns in the bow just behind the jutting ram.

Painted and unpainted Lanterna galley

Our Skull and Crown 1:300th scale laser-cut ships are made of sturdy birch plywood (because MDF is not seaworthy!). Galleys measure just under 150mm from end to end, with galiots running smaller, and Lanternas larger! These are ideal for 6mm miniatures.

Each ship set comes with:

  • Random flag/awning sheet
  • Crew and captain markers
  • Smoke marker
  • Furled or 'no sail' yardarms
  • Open and closed arumbada (forecastle)
  • Fusta damage dice holder (for galleys and larger)

A collection of galleys in action for the upcoming Galleys, Guns and Glory! rules system.

Cheers!
