Before it was Rally Round the King, it was Warrior Kings, an historical big-battle ruleset. WK begot Warrior Heroes, which turned into RRtK. So, returning to its historical roots, we've decided to release a free historical army list sampler.

In the future, we will release over 120 historical armies for Rally Round the King (RRtK), divided into four convenient releases:

Ancients and Alexander
Pax Romana
Crusaders and Norsemen
For King and Country

This sampler contains three historical armies from each, and a simple campaign system - called Local Campaigns - which we've used many times. Enjoy!
