One of the most popular periods for wargaming, it allows massed cavalry, ranked musketry and pike blocks. Add in the extremely colourful nature of the period in terms of uniform and of character, and it's easy to see why so many have asked for this range.
We plan several plastic sets and a complete metal range. The first sets will, of course, cover the pike-and-shot regiment of the forces of the King and the soldiers of Parliament, but that's just the beginning - Scots Covenanters will follow quickly behind, and we have plans for lots more besides!
This doesn't mean we're taking our eyes off the ball as regards Romans and Celts - far from it! We're currently having several new releases in the pipeline - plastic and metal.
