At Salute 2015, you can join in with the Battle of Evesham 1265. You take on the role of one of twelve handpicked royalist men-at-arms who have been tasked with assassinating the rebel leader Simon de Montfort, stalking the battlefield, letting nothing get in their way, in pursuit of their target.
To his own supporters, de Montfort is a freedom fighter and force for positive change in the land; to the royalists, he is a usurper and traitor who must be killed.
It will not be easy, the chaos of battle whirls all around you, your enemies are many, and your life will be in danger at every turn.
Join us for as many or as few turns as you choose, notching up kills/points along the way. We will tally up the scores, and at the end of the day, the player with the highest will be crowned 'Lord of the Battle'.
Take up arms for your prince, find the rebel leader and slay him – because de Montfort must die!
