Some fantastic news for anyone going to Gen Con! I've spent a good part of this year and last working on the multitude of minis for the District 9 boardgame!
Weta just announced the reveal and demo of the boardgame at Gen Con, with a Kickstarter campaign starting next year.
So if you are at Gen Con, check out the Weta Workshop booth 609 with Cryptazoic (near CMON) and have a play, search some prawns, steal their tech, or become the leader of a prawn faction!
GKR Heavy Hitters Will Also Be There With New Releases…
Weta will be at Gen Con, and I'll be at Call to Arms in Wellington, New Zealand, demoing my own game The Barbarian Beestwars. ZombieSmith write the rules, I sculpt the figure range, and world-build with a bit of help from my writer, Doug Redpath.
I'm also getting ready to release the remainder of the Hyenamen faction, the Shapeshifter (Gnoll) and Barbarian on Warbeest. This will be a dual release with ZombieSmith. The Beestwars rules were updated a month or so ago, and there should be another update coming with the release of the new figures…
