For fans of Howard Whitehouse's outstanding rules for Pulp Fiction gaming, Astounding Tales!, there's good news tonight!

Astounding Adventures! #1 for Astounding Tales!

The first scenario book, Astounding Adventures! #1, is about ready to go to the printers and is expected to be formally released at Historicon at the end of July, and sold there through the good offices of Bob and Ann Bowling of RLBPS.

The book contains six scenarios, all ready-to-play, by five authors whose submissions to the first scenario writing contest were chosen, and one more by Howard, himself.

Haven't played Astounding Tales!, or prefer another set of rules? No problem! Rules conversion notes have been provided for .45 Adventure, Rugged Adventures, and To Be Continued... By Gaslight.

No matter what system you prefer, you can use these new Pulp fiction scenarios however you wish - how's that for a deal?

Subscribers are asked to pay $15.00 USD plus appropriate postage ($6.00 USD Domestic, $10.00 USD Overseas and Canada), to reserve a numbered copy, autographed by the author of Astounding Tales!, Howard Whitehouse. Upon general release, the 54-page book will sell for $20.00 USD.

Unlike previous subscriptions, payment is requested when reserving copies, not at a later date.

Twenty-five subscriptions is the minimum number required, though more will be accepted up to the end of the subscription period.

The subscription period opens now and runs through midnight, CST, July 15. Shipment should be shortly after, prior to Historicon.

Interested parties should email TVAG@worldnet.att.net to reserve their copies, and pay either via PayPal, or personal check/money order made payable to "Patrick R. Wilson" (and no other!) sent to the business address posted at the website.

Again, general release is expected to be at Historicon, where Howard will be glad to autograph any copies bought there.

The gate is open, and they're off and running!
