We just received news that the plastic Mounted Men at Arms will be ready for sale by the 21st April, so they will be available at Salute only from our stand (TE22).

Mounted Men At Arms

Terry and company at Renedra (the tooling company) are working wonders, having only started cutting the two frames/sprues (one large for the riders, and one half-frame of horses) in March. This is quite amazing, as they had to fit a number of other jobs as well. Actually, they've tooled 20 frames since September (not all ours!).

Free Charles the Bold

Also, we're giving away a unique figure of Charles the Bold to anybody buying three or more boxes of the Men at Arms direct us or from us at Salute.

Free Mounted Wounded Colonel

The plastic Russian Napoleonic Infantry get the same deal, but with a free mounted wounded colonel instead. Don't forget that we will (as well as Renedra) also have the plastic Medieval Cottage on sale by then.

Mounted Men At Arms three-up resins

There are twelve Mounted Men at Arms in the box, 18 banners/standards, unit bases, and a painting guide (including 14 examples of tabards/liverycoats). The models are intended for use in most European armies, as well as those of the Wars of the Roses. There are four different bodies/armor types (Italian, German, English/Flemish, and Italian with coat), with bridle arms attached. There is a variety of weapons, including couched and upright lance, sword, mace, axe, and hammer. The fingers are attached to each weapon, and supplied separate from the arms. Also, there are 36 new heads (12 different), that are interchangeable with the previous plastic medieval figures. The horses have interchangeable body halves and heads, plus separate horse armor.

They are 28mm, and will be £18.00 GBP.
