Yes, an American gun boat circa 1812, a small barn, a small clapboard house (or two), a river mill, a tavern, all for 28mm figures.

You could make them generic enough to cover the FIW, AWI, War of 1812 and ACW periods.

BTW looking at the barges; you could make one more larger version to emulate the larger barges that the British used for the War of 1812 Chesapeake campaign. I think the barges could be generic enough to cover all of the aforementioned periods.

I wish you much success.

Buildings On A Budget

Today's additions to this range are centered along the Silver River.

First, there is the Silver River Ferry, run by Dan the ferry man. He charges one penny per person, two for a horse, and three for a horse and wagon. The ferry ride across the Silver River takes only about 20 minutes, and saves people the long trip to Blackstone, some 50 miles to the east. It is mostly used by the folks from the surrounding farms coming to Riverfield for the monthly market.

Right beside the ferry, Dan has his little boat builders' shed. Here he stores the material needed for smaller and bigger repairs of his customers' boats. Occasionally he even gets a request for a new construction.

Flat-bottomed boats are a very common sight, as they are ideal for the shallow and slow flowing Silver River. The simple but robust vessels don't have much draft, and are propelled by oars or pole. They are used for every kind of river-bound activities around Riverfield: fishing, traveling, hauling goods, etc.
