STL (3D Model) – $3.00 USD

Duquesne

This is an STL file of the French ship Duquesne. The file is for printing on your 3Dprinter.

The Duquesne class was made up of two unprotected cruisers built for the French navy.

The Duquesnes were designed to chase down commerce raiders, and as such, speed was of the essence. Armor was sacrificed completely in order to increase speed, and it was essential the ships be reliable, economical and with long operating range.

They were none of these things. The only category they performed as designed was floating. Aside from that, their engines were unreliable, and when operable, had a voracious appetite for coal, and their large crews were wholly uneconomical. Three strikes and you're out.

Can be Duquesne and Tourville.

The default scale of the model is 1:2400.

Download also includes a selection of masts that can also be used on other models of your choice.
