London – June 6, 2012 – Steel Crown Productions (exoduswars.com) and Membraine Studios (membrainestudios.com) are issuing a call to arms to wargaming fans all over the world to help them finish Exodus Wars: Fractured Empire. Hosted on Indiegogo (indiegogo.com/EWFracturedEmpire), the crowd-funding campaign will make it possible for the wargaming community to support the franchise's first foray into computer games. To date, Membraine has invested close to $47,000 USD into the game, with 40% of development work completed so far.
Exodus Wars: Fractured Empire is a 3D, turn-based strategy game capturing the core gameplay of miniatures wargaming. It will put players in control at a brigade level, maneuvering infantry and armor companies, as well as massive super-vehicles like the mighty Marcovian Behemoth, as they jockey for position on the futuristic battlefields of the Exodus Wars universe.

"Fans of miniatures wargames have long lamented the lack of good turn-based strategy computer games," says Mark Sheppard, producer, Membraine Studios. "It's incredibly hard to capture the essence of miniatures wargaming: what units to bring to a battle and the tactics that best serve an overarching strategy. Exodus Wars: Fractured Empire will be the game wargamers have always wanted but have never seen made because wargames like this are seen as 'too niche' by publishers and big studios alike."
