"Hats off to Khurasan and other companies that make these innovative figures. Not like these"others"(I wont name it,lest I be seen as "bashing") that keep recycling the same old, same old to death. If only Khurasan would take something other than paypal,I would have been a customer a long time ago…."

From the depths of space come the Vespulid Swarm, wasps who have reached sentience and now employ sophisticated tech in their predatory onslaughts.

Vespulid Swarm

Permanently replacing their wings with much more powerful rocket packs, they carry ion shotguns to stun their opponents with massive blasts so they can be carried back to the underground hive cities, food for the ravenous maggots.

Vespulid

The leader of each swarm is the massive Drone, standing eight feet tall or more. This creature uses two ion shotguns at the same time, and the ion mortar on his backpack can short out a tank or an entire squad of prey. And the Drone is a fearsome foe in close combat, its huge mandibles removing heads as effortlessly as a guillotine.

The swarms use their jump packs to lock their opponents in close combat immediately. They use no vehicles of their own, but three warriors in each swarm have tank controllers which adhere to any surface, permitting the warrior to hijack enemy tanks, driving them off cliffs or even using the tank against its makers, much as some wasps take over much larger host insects.

Nominally 15mm scale (the warriors are a bit taller than the average 15mm human when standing up), these are essentially scaleless, and can be used as small creatures in 28mm gaming as well. Except the Drone - he's virtually a 28mm model himself!

Sculpted by Mike Broadbent and painted by Steve Dean.

Available now. Happy gaming!
