Dacian Army Deals from Warlord Games

Not having bought from them before, how "fiddly" are the minis to assemble / paint?

Started to assemble mine last night. With the exception of the "leader" (and IIRC the standard bearer) that have a separate arm, all minis are a horse that has the legs and waistsection of rider cast in one piece and a torso / head piece. The lances are separate brass pieces, that fit well. The fit of the two main parts is extremely good. You will not have to fill / resculpt the "gap", which is a first with any of their cavalry (at least for me). The only part that is causing problems for me is the leaders maze arm. The maze has the helmet plume cast on and I cannot get it to fit properly without bending the maze handle into a round shape.

They are quite detailed, with pronounced, folds in their clothing and the scales of their armour. So they should be easy to paint, especially if you are using drybrushing or washing techniques.
