In Relic Worlds Showdown, you choose a faction to seek out treasure and fight the other factions trying to do the same thing. You then battle it out on the tabletop using the Showdown rules by Pinnacle Entertainment.

Showdown is a miniatures game, and thus many miniatures figures will work for the purposes of playing. However, these counters work for getting started right away, or filling in what players might not have. They also all match characters and units in the faction books.
