Website

The Askari Miniatures website got a new look this weekend, as I upgraded the site to a new version of Joomla! software.

Everything migrated over from the old site, so nothing is lost, but much is gained. There's now a much nicer look to the site with lots of photos – many provided over time by customers. The only drawback is that the new site doesn't have the built-in simple polling feature that I've been using. As I get time, I'll test some add-ons and see what might work.

There are now pages featuring many of our ranges. Over time, I expect to add stories, game reports, photos and research sources. An early previewer said the site was much more user friendly.

The webstore/shopping cart feature hasn't changed. You can still get there directly, by clicking the menu at the top of the Home Page, or also by clicking the button at the bottom of the Home Page.

Check it out: I'd love to have your feedback on what you like or don't like.

Askari Miniatures are 28mm. Prices vary by pack – see the Askari Webstore for complete details.
