Have you sometimes thought about jumping into the exciting world of Cold War-era miniatures, but haven't because of limited time, resources, or lack of interest in painting an entire U.S., Soviet, West German or British division, brigade or regiment? How about all those interesting tanks you would like to field, but can't find the miniatures?
Then MBT Flats are the answer for you! These unique 2D paper miniatures are full-color, highly detailed, individually numbered, scaled for 1:285 and 1:300 play, and are set and ready for play. All you need to do is print and mount the sheets and cut out the various vehicles, aircraft and infantry. You can easily set up a battle in less than a few hours – in far less time (and with a lot less money out of your pocket!) than it would take to purchase and paint a similarly size force of miniatures.
All units are mounted on a common neutral base/background. All of the various combat units from the Challenger I to the Lynx AH.1 are represented. These are not generic images of vehicles and aircraft, but the real units. Each 8.5 x 11 page contains 1.7 x.7 inch (42mm x 17mm) vehicle units, 1.7 x 1.3 inch (42mm x 34mm) fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, and .3 x.8 (8mm x 21mm) turrets.
The infantry includes 1 x.5 inch (25mm x 13mm) half- squad-sized units and .5 x.5 inch (13mm x 13mm) section-sized units.
Created for the MBT boardgame (set in 1987), MBT Flats' common design with only a name, numerical ID, and national symbol makes them ideally suited for any game or set of rules. Your options are endless (and economical!) to build up your forces and jump into a whole new world of gaming fun!
