The Classic Game is a revision of the original 1986 version, allowing for quick play, either on your own or with as many people as you can stand. The object of the game is to make it through the dungeon, increase power by locating weapons, ammunition, and technological equipment, and acquire the many different parts of the key needed to exit it. The original Trial By Fire dungeon is included, so that you can dive right in as soon as possible.
The Advanced Game provides greater challenge for those seeking a traditional roleplaying experience. It introduces new tactical options, wizard and tinker characters, spell-casting, and medical treatment, as well as a variety of traps, monsters and other threats.
