This week's new releases from Sally 4th see us branching out into new scales with our laser-cut terrain. Responding to customer requests, we have produced castle walls, towers and gateways in 10mm and 15mm scales. Over the coming months, we will be adding to the range of castle components available in all three scales.
The 10mm and 15mm walls and gateways are 120mm wide x 20mm deep, and are designed so they can accommodate three 20mm x 40mm bases. The gateways feature double gates that can be constructed to open on hinges.
The 10mm and 15mm towers are 50mm square at the base, but overhang, giving 64mm square on the roof, meaning that there is plenty of space to deploy a ballista or catapult, as well as accompanying infantry stands. The tower overhangs to allow the inclusion of 'murder holes' around all sides, so that the defenders can drop boiling oil and other weapons on any attackers. The roof of the tower lifts off, allowing additional troops to be positioned inside.
The new release for our 28mm castle range is 10' External Stone Stairways. These come two to a kit, and allow access from the courtyard to the curtain walls. The stairs are 50mm high, so reach any of our 10' wall sections. They have been designed in such a way that 28mm figures mounted on plastic slottabases, coins or 2mm MDF can be placed on the steps.
All models are laser-cut MDF kits, and require assembly.
