Sorry Scott, I was speaking from a gamer/painter point of view. I guess if you are more into hurling minis you are better off with plastic. Of course I will beat you on distance.

I do usually give a metal fig another pass or two with primer, but that's only because plactics have fewer undercuts and detailing unless they are multi-part. In that case it takes a lot longer to assemble them, so the time spent is a wash.
