Some of the desert terrain offers appear to be the same items offered before like the "large and small desert buildings" for example. I think the gaming matt is completely new . . . I never seen the "desert administration building", which must be new, too!

As far as dunes go I'd rather build a ton of them myself from industrial "blueboard" Styrofoam for a hell of a lot cheaper! You can get a 1-1/2" thk. 4' x 8" sheet to cut and shape with a hot-wire knife for about $20 USD at a home supply store! Palm trees from China for pennies on the dollar that look better, by far and you get a lot more of them, besides – check eBay. I typically bought (16) assorted sized palms for about $5. USD

Also, an amazing array of laser-cut MDF Board and foamcore board middle-eastern buildings from Gamecraft Miniatures! Really nice buildings with nice parapet articulaton for cheap – you have to paint them of course – but that's easy considering the type of buildings you're talking about! Lots of accessories, too! And, in different scales – 6mm, 15mm, 20mm, 28mm!!

they even make Osama Bin Laden's compound and building, and the hotel building from "Black Hawk Down" where the rangers attacked Adid's lieutenants!

Battlefield in a Box

Scenery has always played a vital part in Flames of War. With the pending release of 4th Edition and the return to the desert for Mid-war, we've taken the opportunity to refresh our range of Battlefield in a Box desert terrain.

Gaming Mat (BB951)

The Battlefield in a Box range of tabletop-ready scenery is a quick and easy way to create a wargaming table straight out of the box, suitable for any scale miniature troops to fight over.
