In my case it is more a principle thing. I don't like mixing metal and plastic.

They are very nice figures though

STEVE LBMS of Victrix Limited writes:

We are really pleased to announce the release of our Theban hoplites set.

Theban Armoured Hoplites box set

This box contains 48 superbly detailed 28mm hard-plastic miniatures, with many arm and head options to create a multitude of poses for your Theban phalanx.

Theban montage

The Thebans often wore the Boeotian-style helmet depicted with these miniatures. (Not exclusively, however!) They did wear other styles, but this was common amongst Boeotian troops, and also popular in Thessaly and other Greek states. You can freely mix these hoplites within your Athenian and mercenary hoplite units. (The mercenaries will be on release in the next couple of weeks, completing our first round of Greek sets.)

Transfers

As well as this great set of figures, Steve has just finished some great new Theban hoplite shield transfer sheets.

You can purchase this great set (plus the Spartans and Athenians) if you go to victrixlimited.com.
