We are pleased to release the French Napoleonic Gendarmes d' Elite, 1815. During this campaign, both helmets and bearskins were in use after the reorganization of this unit, during the first Restoration in 1814. Only 250 strong in this campaign, the unit probably left their Eagle in the depot, as they were so small, but as most gamers prefer to have standards, I've included them, as well the choice of command. After Napoleon returned, all Royal insignia on the uniforms was quickly removed, a brass grenade replaced the Royal badge on the helmet. The old bearskins were taken out of storage and put back into use.
