Glad you like them, DWilliams. We are trying to be comprehensive with our AWI line, which is an ongoing project. We offer three heads for black soldiers -- in tricorne, floppy hat and bareheaded. Likewise for our ACW line -- in kepi, floppy hat and bareheaded. Everyone seems to default to the RI regiment for black soldiers in the AWI, because it's been portrayed in uniform illustrations, but black soldiers were throughout the Patriot lines, as you say.

Recruit Your Own Regiment British

All the King's Men is pleased to announce the "second edition" of our foremost figure line, the American Revolution. We have converted, re-mastered, re-tooled and re-created many of our AWI figures and sets. Heads have been removed and made separate, so have arms. Other sets have been re-made altogether. The result is a wide array of new figures and options for creating regiments that complement what you might already have from us. You can see it all on our American Revolution page.

Recruit Your Own Regiment Continentals

The first thing you'll notice is the Recruit Your Own Regiment menu. You now get to handpick the poses and head sets you want to combine to form a figure set, be it skirmishers (six soldiers + two command), infantry (twelve + two), single figures, or a combo of your own design.

Other familiar sets have been re-made from scratch or changed significantly. They include our Continental and British infantry and artillery, Hessian infantry, and Highlanders in trews. Basically, it's a whole new figure line!

Hessian Fusiliers

We're ATKM, so these are 54mm metal, of course. We keep our prices low, so you can build wargame armies – infantry sets are $40 USD, skirmishers $25 USD, cavalry $45 USD and artillery $30 USD to $35 USD. All figures come unpainted.

Yes, you can wargame in 54mm. And mass battles, not just skirmishes. Check out our free wargame rules PDF.
