Jason Payne (jason@trenchlight.com) of TrenchLight Software LLC writes:

LordCraft, the new wargame program that lets you drag-and-drop track and organize your miniatures collection and assemble armies, has gone Beta.

LordCraft is a wargames organization tool usable with any game system. LordCraft allows a drag-and-drop, Windows Explorer-like hierarchical interface to track manage your wargaming collection and armies. Compatible with such popular games as Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000, Warzone, and Star Wars, LordCraft also allows you to create your own custom weapons, units, and vehicles. LordCraft tracks your entire miniatures collection and makes army construction as simple as clicking on the units you want to include. Playing with your newly-created armies is even easier thanks to a powerful reporting utility.

To sign up to be a Beta tester and download the pre-release version of LordCraft, visit http://www.trenchlight.com/lcdownloads-lc.asp.

There's also an online discussion forum that's been created to support the Beta testers. This forum serves a dual role as a bulletin board and as a bug-reporting mechanism, and is available at http://www.trenchlight.com/lordcraft.

Any questions about the Beta-testing process should be directed to matt@trenchlight.com, the Beta-testing coordinator for LordCraft.

Thanks, and all of us here at TrenchLight Software hope that you like what we've created - and if you don't, we hope that you'll let us know how to make it better.
